This beauty was born on November 13th, 2025, and features Gibson's Murphy Lab Ultra Light Aging.

Yes, there are finish checks. Yes, there is aging on the gold hardware. And yes, Gibson charged extra to make a brand-new guitar look like it has been hanging around since the Kennedy administration.

That's Murphy Lab, folks — the only place where you can pay a premium for wear and then proudly tell everyone, “DON'T WORRY, THOSE SCRATCHES ARE FACTORY ORIGINAL!”

Now, an important cosmetic disclosure: During shipping, a section of the lacquer finish near the control knobs lifted and chipped away. This is actual finish loss that occurred in transit and is not part of the original factory Murphy Lab aging. The affected area is localized to the control section and is shown in our photographs. We want to be completely transparent about this imperfection.

Aside from this shipping-related finish damage, the guitar retains its beautiful Murphy Lab Ultra Light Aged presentation, complete with the factory lacquer checking and aged gold hardware.

Includes the original Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case, the case candy and the Murphy Lab Certificate as shown in our photographs.

This one has just about everything Gibson could bolt, wire, engrave, bind, or gold-plate onto an SG without requiring a building permit. Three pickups, ebony board, Custom appointments, Maestro Vibrola, and enough gold hardware to affect the commodities market.

Factory Warranty- 

We are an authorized dealer for: Knaggs, Ken Smith, F Bass, Trussart, Warwick, Breedlove and Warrior, so for these instruments, if listed as NEW, there is a full factory warranty. For all other brands, or if listed as USED, there is no warranty available.

Return Policy- 

We do accept returns up to 14 days from the point of the initial sale, which means that the guitar must be back in our possession within this 14 day period. However, please be aware of the following conditions: If for any reason you wish to return the guitar, just call or email me directly, within 24 hours of your receiving the item, and let me know that you want to return it. Once we receive the guitar back, in the same condition, you will receive a refund, less a $50 restock fee. Also be aware that the initial shipping fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
