Godin A6 Ultra Extreme Koa HG Acoustic-Electric Hybrid (PRE-OWNED)
Our users rate Reverb
The Godin A6 Ultra Extreme Koa HG is a unique hybrid instrument that seamlessly blends the rich, natural voice of an acoustic guitar with the playability and versatility of an electric. Designed and handcrafted in Canada, this innovative model is perfect for musicians who need exceptional amplified acoustic tone without sacrificing comfort or performance on stage.
This pre-owned example features a stunning Extreme Koa high-gloss top, giving it a striking visual presence while delivering the premium craftsmanship and reliability that have made Godin one of Canada's most respected guitar builders.
Acoustic Tone Meets Electric Performance
The A6 Ultra is built around a chambered Silver Leaf Maple body with Canadian Laurentian Basswood wings, creating a lively acoustic response while dramatically reducing feedback at high stage volumes. Its slim mahogany neck and 16" radius Richlite fingerboard provide the familiar feel of an electric guitar, making the transition effortless for electric players.
Whether you're performing acoustic sets, recording, or playing with a full band, the A6 Ultra delivers exceptional comfort and versatility.
Dual Pickup System for Maximum Flexibility
The A6 Ultra combines two distinct sound sources to cover an enormous range of tones.
A Custom Godin under-saddle transducer captures the instrument's natural acoustic character, while a Custom Godin neck humbucker adds warmth, sustain, and electric guitar punch. Use either voice independently or blend both together for an incredibly rich and dynamic sound.
The custom onboard preamp provides complete control over your tone with dedicated controls for both acoustic and electric signals.
