Vintage 1970s Eko Ranger Acoustic Guitar - Restoration Project / Spares or Repair
Condition: For parts, repair, or project use (Sold As-Seen)
Description:
Up for sale is a classic vintage 1970s Eko Ranger acoustic guitar. Despite needing some workshop TLC, the neck is straight and it is genuinely playable with a lovely vintage tone. In the right hands, this shouldn't be a difficult job to bring back to its best.
Playability & Sound:
The neck is straight, the action is playable, and it projects a lovely tone.
Cosmetic & Repair Notes:
- There is some old foam from a case stuck to the top of the body, which should come off with a careful scrub.
- It will need a new bridge saddle.
- There is a small hole in the bottom of the body and a crack/dent on the back.
- The strap button/nut is missing and needs replacing.
- Missing one of its original string pegs.
- Features a replacement tuning peg that lacks its outer surround, and a few of the other tuning pegs are slightly bent.
A nice project guitar that already sounds great at its core. Sold as-seen.
Collection only from Greenwich or Watford, or could meet at Euston/Kings Cross morning or evenings
