Hand selected at Gibson HQ in Nashville by RHMC team, this 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue blends classic Historic Collection DNA with a custom Kerry Kaymen Shift finish over a plain maple top. The ebony-finished back, sides, and neck give the guitar a sleek, understated appearance while preserving everything players love about a late-'50s Les Paul.  A matching stinger completes the look.

A lightweight mahogany body and substantial '58 neck carve provide the familiar feel and resonance that have made the R8 a favorite among vintage-inspired players. From the rosewood fingerboard to the vintage-correct construction, this build stays true to the spirit of Gibson's Golden Era while offering a distinctive visual twist.

Custombucker pickups deliver the open, articulate voice associated with the best original PAF-equipped Les Pauls, while premium Historic-spec hardware and electronics complete the package. Equal parts classic and custom, this Made-to-Measure R8 offers timeless Les Paul tone with a look that's all its own.
