In 2023, to celebrate their 400th anniversary, the Zildjian family opened their vaults and pulled out a run of their private collection of cymbals. There were 200 of these 20” rides released world wide. This particular cymbal was made in the mid 1940s at their factory in Quincy, MA. this was #161/200 they released. Flight case, accessories and COA signed by Cragie Zildjian included. I had this out of the case for all of 5 minutes When I first got it (wearing gloves) and then it hasn’t left the case since. All stick marks and fingerprints are from when the cymbal was made and tested 80 years ago (back when everything was still made by hand). These were $2000 when they first came out
