For sale: Flattley Pedals Silver Centurion, a transparent overdrive designed to enhance the character of your guitar and amplifier without changing their fundamental voice. Your guitar still sounds like itself, only with added presence and definition.

The circuit handles different parts of the frequency spectrum separately: the bass frequencies pass through untouched, the Tone control can boost the treble, and the mids go through a soft-clipping circuit that adds harmonics in response to the signal level. The Gain control adjusts gain and volume together, changing the pedal’s sensitivity and the width of the affected midrange. The pedal also acts as a buffer when bypassed.

Use it as a clean boost to push your amplifier, to drive an amp that is already on the edge of breakup into overdrive, or stacked with other drive pedals to add extra sparkle and level.

The pedal features a blue halo light ring, designed to make it easier to locate on a dark stage without the glare of a standard LED, and a large aluminium footswitch topper for easier switching. Each pedal in Flattley’s Silver Range is finished by hand: the aluminium enclosure is primed, painted in several coats, lacquered and polished. The graphics are designed in-house and applied using direct UV printing.
