Strandberg Sälen Jazz NX 6 Black

The Strandberg Sälen Jazz NX 6 combines Strandberg’s innovative headless design with the timeless character of a traditional semi-hollow-style guitar, creating a truly unique instrument.

Balancing the warmth of vintage-inspired tones with modern playability, this versatile model excels across a wide range of genres, from jazz, blues, and fusion to pop and rock.

The chambered mahogany body paired with a solid maple top delivers rich midrange response and impressive sustain. Its semi-hollow-inspired resonance is complemented by a well-defined, articulate sound. Clean tones offer a spacious, three-dimensional quality, while overdriven sounds remain smooth and musical. The mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard further enhance its warm, expressive tonal character.

Equipped with USA-made Suhr humbuckers, the Sälen Jazz NX 6 offers vintage-inspired output with excellent clarity and definition. From subtle picking nuances to dynamic chord work, every detail of your playing is faithfully reproduced. Clear, articulate highs, balanced mids, and tight lows allow the character of your amplifier and effects to shine through.

One of Strandberg’s defining features is its patented EndurNeck profile, designed to encourage a natural wrist position and reduce fatigue during extended playing sessions. Even players accustomed to conventional neck profiles can adapt to its distinctive shape with surprising ease, while enjoying effortless access to the higher frets. The multiscale design further optimizes string tension, providing a comfortable and balanced feel for everything from chordal playing to technically demanding lead work.

Strandberg’s proprietary EGS Rev7 hardware combines lightweight construction, excellent resonance, and outstanding durability, along with reliable tuning stability. Working in harmony with the headless design, it contributes to the guitar’s remarkably low weight and balanced feel, reducing physical strain during long performances and recording sessions.

Based on the traditional single-cutaway silhouette, the Sälen Jazz NX 6 incorporates Strandberg’s distinctive ergonomic body design. It sits comfortably whether played seated or standing, with smooth access across the entire fretboard. Its futuristic headless design and classic aesthetic come together beautifully, making this a true modern classic.
