Fender 75th Anniversary Vintera Road Worn 1951 Telecaster – Used

From Fender’s special 75th Anniversary Collection, the 75th Anniversary Vintera Road Worn 1951 Telecaster has arrived in used condition. This commemorative model recreates the specifications of the original 1951 Telecaster.

Although this model features Fender’s Road Worn aging treatment, it also shows signs of use consistent with its used condition.

One of the pickguard screw holes has been repaired, and there are scuff marks from strap use, which are particularly noticeable due to the nature of the lacquer finish. The guitar has been thoroughly cleaned and adjusted, and there are no issues affecting playability.

The truss rod has ample adjustment range remaining, and the neck is in good condition. This particular instrument is also exceptionally lightweight, weighing approximately 2.80 kg.

Finished in the classic Butterscotch Blonde, the guitar features a timeless look reminiscent of early-1950s Telecasters, with its black pickguard providing the perfect vintage touch.

Both the body and neck feature a Road Worn nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The aged appearance evokes the character of a well-loved vintage guitar, allowing you to enjoy the distinctive look and atmosphere of Fender’s Road Worn treatment.

The maple neck features a substantial 1951 “U” profile, faithfully recreating the feel of the original-era specifications. It offers a solid, substantial grip in the hand. A maple fingerboard with a 7.25-inch radius and vintage-tall frets completes the classic playing feel.

Sonically, this Telecaster stands out for its excellent projection and clear, articulate high end. The attack is well-defined, with a responsive character that helps notes cut through the mix. Its bright, sparkling highs also add plenty of texture and presence to the overall sound.

The guitar is equipped with two Pure Vintage ’51 Telecaster single-coil pickups and a vintage-style three-saddle bridge featuring brass barrel saddles. Even the tuning machines follow traditional vintage-style specifications, reflecting Fender’s attention to historical detail throughout the design.

A special 75th Anniversary model that combines early-1950s specifications with a convincingly vintage aesthetic.

For players seeking a lightweight instrument with the clarity and articulation associated with an ash body and maple fingerboard, this Telecaster is well worth trying.
