Founded in 1974 by Bob Taylor and Kurt Listug, Taylor Guitars has grown rapidly since the 2000s thanks to its innovative ideas, high technical skill, and sophisticated marketing, and is now one of the world's top acoustic guitar brands. Taylor enjoys immense popularity, particularly in the US, where it is used by professional musicians, as well as domestically. This particular instrument is the newly redesigned "Next Generation" "414ce." It features a spruce top, Indian rosewood sides and back, neo-tropical mahogany neck, and a cremated ebony fingerboard and bridge. The rosewood model boasts a wide treble range, combining brilliance and depth, making it a perfect match for any genre. The "Next Generation" features an evolved "scalloped V-Class bracing," an advancement from the V-Class bracing. While maintaining the excellent pitch and balance of the original, it delivers a more powerful and richer sound. It also incorporates the "Action Control Neck," which makes neck adjustments easier. The long tenon neck joint, which is stronger and allows for easier and more precise fine-tuning of the neck angle than before, improves the resonance of the entire body, allowing for ultra-precise adjustments whenever needed. The pickup is equipped with the new "Claria pickup system." Combining an under-saddle piezo pickup with a newly developed preamp, it delivers a reliable and easy-to-use amplified tone in any setting. Mid and Tone controls allow for a wider range of sound control. The Grand Concert, with its excellent sensitivity and balance, is easy to play and has an exquisite size that looks great on stage, especially for women. This is an all-around guitar that can be used by anyone looking for a ready-to-use electro-acoustic guitar for live performances.
