The story of Pearl Flute began in 1968 in a small workshop in Yachiyo City, Chiba Prefecture. While the mechanisms of the modern flute are rooted in a long tradition and history, the craftspeople at Pearl Flute—driven by an extraordinary passion—sought to refine classical construction methods to create flutes that were more user-friendly and featured superior mechanical design. This became the foundation of Pearl Flute’s approach to instrument making.

Pearl Flute pioneered the "one-piece core bar" (a unique mechanism that transformed the history of the flute) and successfully introduced a "pinless" mechanism (a screw-based assembly system).

Although these groundbreaking innovations were not immediately recognized for their true value, they eventually gained high acclaim; today, Pearl Flutes are favored by top players worldwide, and many other flute manufacturers have since followed suit by adopting these designs.

Featuring a silver headjoint, this model produces a soft, deep, and resonant tone.

Designed with a focus on ease of play and affordability, it combines a silver headjoint with a nickel-silver body and footjoint, resulting in an instrument that is easy to sound and offers excellent response.
