JUST SERVICED!
Vintage SMF Sound City Tour Series MKII with EIGHT EL34s!
Look closely. You may never see another one this clean. Look at those amp handles on the sides 0 yes, those are the same that would be on a vintage Marshall cab and THOSE are super clean too.
I just got this one back from being serviced. Electrolytic capacitors and a couple of minor solder repairs. The original tubes are still well within spec and are bias matched well.
**This amp REQUIRES 2 speaker cabs to run without blowing a transformer.
You may ask, how does it sound? LOUD. OK. It's freaking loud. I think it sounds great? I don't know, I'm going to need to wait til after my next therapy appointment because I'm not OK after playing this at about half volume.
That being said, I'd really rather not ship this because of all the tubes in it. But I am offering shipping, just know that it is heavy as crap, and I will be triple boxing it. So, the shipping is high because it will be massive and heavy. But, if I ship it, it will be safe and insured. This is a piece of history, so, seriously, it will be packed with that kind of respect in mind.
I do not know how many watts this is. 150? 180? 200? I mean, there are 8 EL34s in it. I'm not sure if all 8 are doing power in this circuit. I think 2 of the EL34s may be for other purposes by design. But, do some digging, this thing is remarkable, and remarkably loud, and you might never see one this clean again.
Buy with confidence from a reputable seller with a 30 day money back return policy.
I don't think I can ship this internationally without it going by freight. Sorry. If you are an international buyer and would like to source your own freight details, I will try to work with you on that.
Thanks for looking.
