Up for sale is a ultimate-spec Fender '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb 22-Watt 1x12 Tube Combo Amp in excellent condition. This complete package includes the original 2-button footswitch and fitted protective amp cover.
This amp has been thoroughly upgraded for maximum vintage response, sweet high-end headroom, and smooth tube compression.
PREMIUM TONE UPGRADES & SPECIFICATIONS:
• Speaker: Celestion Alnico Gold 12" (8-Ohm) — Massive upgrade over stock; provides rich bell-like highs, vocal midrange, and incredible touch sensitivity without harsh top-end.
• Power Tubes: Vintage Sylvania 6V6GT/G power tube pair for classic American power section sag and warmth.
• Preamp Tubes:
- V1 & V2: Premium NOS RCA Long Black Plate 12AX7s (Red Tip marked) for thick, woody preamp response
- V3 & V6: Philips / JAN 12AT7 driver/reverb tubes
- V4 & V5: High-grade JJ Electronics 12AX7s
• Cabling: Mogami 3082 coaxial speaker wire terminated with a heavy-duty Neutrik right-angle 1/4" plug for maximum signal delivery
• Accessories Included: Original 2-button Fender Reverb/Vibrato footswitch and fitted protective amp cover.
CONDITION & PERFORMANCE:
Fully tested and 100% operational. The Vintage channel delivers pristine 60s silverface clean tones, while the Custom channel provides touch-sensitive tweed-style drive. Extremely quiet at idle with deep tube-driven spring reverb and pulsing tremolo on both channels.
