2012 Fender Select Precision Bass – Flame Maple Top – 2-Color Sunburst – USA – Hard Case

$2,095 + shipping / offers accepted

Beautiful and increasingly hard-to-find 2012 Fender Select Precision Bass, made in Corona, California. Serial number US12035333.

The Fender Select Series was Fender's premium-production line, and this Precision features an alder body with a figured flame-maple top, finished in 2-color sunburst gloss lacquer. The figuring in the maple really comes alive under the finish.

Features include a quartersawn maple neck, maple fingerboard with 9.5"-14" compound radius, 20 medium-jumbo frets, Fender Select split-coil P-Bass pickup, HiMass vintage bridge with top-load or string-through capability, Fender/Hipshot vintage-style tuners, and the Fender Select medallion on the rear of the headstock. Those specifications line up with Fender's original Select P-Bass configuration. MusicRadar

Currently fitted with La Bella Deep Talkin' Bass flatwound strings and a tortoiseshell pickguard. The pickguard was a direct replacement and required no modification to the instrument. The original parchment/white pickguard is not included.

Includes the pictured hard-shell case and leather strap.

The bass is in excellent overall condition and plays and functions as it should. It does have normal cosmetic wear from use, including some finish wear/chipping along the lower rear edge and several small marks on the back of the neck. Please see the detailed photos. No attempt has been made to hide the wear.

No trades. Reasonable offers welcome.
