Damage Control Demonizer Pedal with Power Supply, no Box.

Unit was fully tested and works as it should with no issues.

The Damage Control Demonizer is a discontinued, high-voltage analog tube distortion and preamp pedal powered by dual 12AX7 vacuum tubes running at roughly 250V plate voltage. Originally manufactured in the USA by Damage Control (which later evolved into Strymon), it functions as a floor preamp, direct recording device, and aggressive tube distortion unit.

Key Features & Design

• Dual 12AX7 Tubes: Runs at true high voltage via a specialized power supply rather than low-voltage starved plate designs.
• Bionic EQ: Features independent Pre-EQ (shaping frequencies before the drive stage from 250 Hz to 1.2/1.3 kHz, -6 to +15 dB) and Post-EQ (with a variable 500 Hz–2.2 kHz mid-scoop and active ±20 dB treble control).
• Analog Opto-Compressor: Built-in optical compression (0 to +20 dB) positioned ahead of the drive stage to add sustain and smooth out dynamics.
• Nuclear / Radiation Boost: A second footswitch providing an extra +20 dB boost directly into the gain stage.
• Direct Recording Out: Includes an analog cabinet simulation network modeled on a closed-back 4x12 speaker cabinet for direct-to-console or interface recording.
• Magic Eye Meter: A vacuum-fluorescent style visual display that dynamically reacts to your playing strength and output levels.

Controls & Jacks

• Knobs: Level, Drive, Opto-Comp, Pre (Boost/Freq), and Post (Treble/Scoop).
• Footswitches: Engage (true bypass) and Nuclear / +20 dB Boost.
• Connections: Input, Amp Out, Direct Out, and Power.
• Build: Housed in a heavy, rugged cast-aluminum chassis with a large physical footprint.
