up for sale is a rare and highly sought-after 1999 Spector NS-4CR (FM), Nº 2472, precision-crafted in the Czech Republic during the golden era of the NBE factory. This specific 1999 model is a true transition piece: it features the fully restored, classic "Spector" logo on the headstock while retaining the legendary solid maple wings construction (unlike the later Euro 4 LX models which switched to an alder/walnut sandwich body). This gives the bass the ultimate, authentic "Spector growl", incredible sustain, and punch.Key Features & Specs:
- Year of Production: 1999 (Verified by serial number/construction)
- Origin: Czech Republic (Licensed under Stuart Spector)
- Body: Solid Figured Maple wings with a gorgeous Natural Matte/Satin finish.
- Construction: Neck-Thru body for maximum resonance.
- Pickups & Electronics: Active EMG P/J pickups paired with the classic EMG active preamp.
- Hardware: Premium gold hardware, featuring Schaller tuners and the heavy solid brass Spector locking bridge (highly coveted before the factory switched to zinc alloys).
- Case: Includes a sturdy, fitted hardcase in good functional condition.
