Schecter Damien Platinum-8 LH Electric Guitar – Satin Black

The Damien Platinum-8 LH delivers a balanced, ergonomic platform built specifically for extended left-handed 8-string playing. Its thin "C"-shaped neck and set mahogany body strike an immediate sense of stability and comfort during long sessions, while the 28" extended scale maintains clarity and definition in lower tunings without floppy response.

Playability & Construction

Built on a double-cutaway mahogany body with a set 3-piece maple neck reinforced by carbon fiber rods, this guitar provides structural integrity across its extended range. The thin "C" profile measures 0.787" at the 1st fret and 0.866" at the 12th, paired with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard and 20" radius that allows smooth, responsive movement across the full 28" scale length (711mm).

Tone & Electronics

Dual EMG-808 active humbuckers are voiced specifically for 8-string clarity and articulation, controlled via independent volume and tone controls and a 3-way pickup selector. The Schecter Custom Hardtail bridge with string-thru-body design, Grover tuning machines, and TonePros tune-o-matic hardware in satin chrome deliver precise intonation and stable tuning, while the Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut (2.12" width) ensures articulate response from the open strings.
