With its Larrivée body shape, the L09 offers a wide and versatile sound optimized for the fingerstyle player. The combination of a Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides produces a balanced and warm sound with ample volume. For the body, Larrivée has chosen a flamed maple binding, a multi-line purfling, an abalone rosette, and a tortoise pickguard. The mahogany neck has an ivoroid-bound ebony fingerboard, and ebony is also found on the headstock.

This L09 was built in 2005, and after almost 20 years still looks very clean. On the top are three very small hairline cracks in the lacquer, running from the corners of the bridge. The guitar has clearly been played, judging by the other playwear and dings on the top, but the guitar is in excellent condition.

This guitar has been carefully inspected for condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
