Hello everyone,
As I hardly have any time left to play these days, I’ve decided to put my Tokai Love Rock (Old Reborn) up for sale. This is a premium-grade Tokai LS-196, finished in Tea Burst with a semi-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer.
This guitar belongs to Tokai’s Premium range and is a special-order model commissioned by the Spanish importer, released as a limited edition. It features a relic treatment on the pickups, hardware and tuners, a semi-gloss lacquer finish, and a specially selected set of tonewoods.
Specifications:
- Long tenon neck joint
- One-piece mahogany body
- Slightly flamed Hard Rock Maple top (LS-196 models are generally plain tops)
- Tea Burst finish
- Weight: 3.6 kg (7.94 lbs)!!!
The craftsmanship is superb (as you would expect from Tokai, especially in their Premium range). It’s beautifully balanced and, above all, it sounds absolutely fantastic! The original Gotoh MK-2 pickups, inspired by classic PAFs, are excellent.
In my opinion, this guitar is right up there with Gibson Custom Shop instruments, but at a very different price point.
The guitar comes with its original hard case and certificate of authenticity.
It has been professionally set up with low action and is strung with Ernie Ball Slinky 10–46 strings.
The guitar is in excellent condition and sounds absolutely killer!
Fast and carefully packed shipping!
