1999 Ernie Ball Music Man Axis Super Sport HH Hardtail – Translucent Gold

A particularly beautiful early USA Ernie Ball Music Man Axis Super Sport HH Hardtail in Translucent Gold. This is a 1999 guitar with an original hardtail bridge, original pickups, roasted maple neck and fretboard, matching headstock and original Music Man hard case.

I've had the guitar professionally serviced and set up, so it will be going to its new owner ready to play.

The Translucent Gold finish really comes alive over the flame figured maple, and the figuring on the maple neck is particularly good. It's one of those guitars that looks insane in the flesh.

The guitar is in good used condition rather than being presented as a collector-grade example. There are some chips to the finish and a cracks in the lacquer and other signs of age which are shown in the photographs. These are cosmetic not structural issues.

The frets have plenty of life left and the guitar has been professionally serviced and set up with fresh 10-gauge strings, so it will be ready to play when it reaches its new owner.

I'm selling this awesome beast after only a short time of ownership due to circumstances beyond my control meaning I need to scale down my collection so it is a case of last in first out.
