It combines exceptional sound with beautiful design, making it the ideal guitar for players who seek both tonal quality and craftsmanship. The Auditorium body produces a balanced tone across all six strings, with deep bass, rich overtones, and clear treble that suit any playing style.

The combination of a solid spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides delivers a warm, rich resonance. The gloss-finished genuine mahogany neck features a Golden Era (GE) Modified Low Oval profile and a high-performance taper, which, combined with the 24.9-inch scale length, enables smooth playability and precise fingering. Additionally, the design- adorned with luxurious abalone inlays- is one of the 000-42's most appealing features. The bound ebony fingerboard features snowflake inlays, and the dazzling rosette and pearl trim on the top beautifully extend around the fingerboard. Furthermore, it is equipped with antique white binding, an ebony bridge and bone pins, and gold open-gear tuners, combining refined beauty with functionality.

With the 2025 refresh of the Standard Series, tone, comfort, and design have been further enhanced. The Sitka spruce GE top bracing, also used in the Modern Deluxe series, produces a vintage-like tone and sustain. Furthermore, the newly designed neck profile, thin fingerboard, and refined bridge and heel combine to deliver both comfortable playability and a beautiful appearance.

The string action measures approximately 2.8 mm on the 6th string at the 12th fret and approximately 2.3 mm on the 1st string at the 12th fret, producing the sweet, luxurious tone you’d expect from a 42. It also delivers a solid volume.

CONDITION
This used guitar is in mint condition with almost no signs of use.
The neck and frets are in great shape and playability is optimal after professional maintenance.
There is one small white spot visible near the waist on the back, close to the 1st string, but since it’s beneath the clear coat, it's believed to have been there since the manufacturer shipped the guitar.
