The Fender American Professional Precision Bass builds on the tried-and-tested characteristics of the classic P-Bass from the early 1950s, complementing them with contemporary features that particularly enhance playing comfort and handling. The alder body in a 3-Colour Sunburst finish is combined with a bolt-on maple neck featuring a Modified 1963 ‘C’ profile, whose ‘Super-Natural’ satin finish and rounded fretboard edges ensure a comfortable playing experience. The maple fingerboard features a 9.5"-radius, 20 narrow-tall frets and a bone nut, with a classic 34"-longscale scale length. To deliver the classic Preci sound, a V-Mod III split-coil Precision Bass pickup is fitted, delivering that characteristic crisp tone with a clear and articulate response. Master Volume and Master Tone controls, featuring ClassicGear Precision potentiometers, provide the familiar tone control. A HiMass Pro bridge, lightweight vintage-style tuning machines and the newly designed asymmetrical neck-to-body joint complete the specification of the new American Professional Precision Bass. A Deluxe moulded hardshell case is also included.
