1960s Guyatone LG-140T 4-Pickup Electric Guitar - Sunburst - Made in Japan

This is a Guyatone LG-140T, a four-pickup solid body electric guitar crafted in Japan in the mid-1960s. With its mirrored chrome pickguard, bank of slide switches and roller controls, and spring vibrato, it captures the distinctive look of 1960s Japanese electric guitar design.

The LG-140T appeared in the mid-1960s as one of Guyatone's solid body electrics, and its four-pickup layout sets it apart from the more common two- and three-pickup Japanese guitars of the period. In the US, a closely related version was sold as the Kent 533 Videocaster. This example retains its original "ELECTRIC GUITAR MODEL LG-140T" label on the back of the headstock. It is a genuine piece of Japanese guitar history from the golden age of 1960s MIJ electrics.

== WHY THIS GUITAR ==
Four-pickup Japanese guitars from the 1960s have a character all their own, and the LG-140T is a fine example of Guyatone's mid-60s design. Between its chrome hardware, switch bank, and vibrato, it delivers the authentic vintage mojo that collectors of 1960s MIJ electrics look for, and it remains a playable instrument today.
