2006 Fender AVRI ‘52 Blackguard reissue tele. I am reluctant to list anything used as “mint”, as there are always scratches and signs of use, but this one is in very good condition. No chips or dents. There are some dark areas around the upper strap button, which I assume is the nitro stained from strap. The finish is like new there is no checking or cracking. Many blackguards of this generation were more of an orange color. I’ve tried to show in the photos that this guitar is more of a traditional butterscotch color.

The neck on this particular '52 isn't the large "U" shape found on most reissues. It is more of a full "C", with a slight amount of "V" near the nut. The measurements are 1st fret - .87" (22.1mm), 12th fret - .94" (24mm). The frets are in good shape. There is a bit of wear in the cowboy chord area, and the lacquer on the fretboard has naturally worn in that area as well. Nothing that affects its playability

Comes with the original tweed case and case candy. This was the last year that they issues a COA, and it is included. The only things that I didn’t get when I bought it were the 6 saddle bridge, and other wiring harness, which I’m not sure was included with this generation. The strap, ashtray cover and all paperwork is included

The guitar is original aside from the pick guard, which is a Bakelite 50’s pick guard. The original is included.
