This vintage Normandy B♭ clarinet was made in France and features a traditional wooden body with nickel-colored Boehm-system keywork. Produced within the respected Noblet/Leblanc family of instruments, Normandy clarinets were designed as durable student and intermediate instruments with the warmer feel and appearance of wood. The clarinet includes a Goldentone 4 mouthpiece and ligature, several reeds, a cleaning swab and a vintage hard case bearing a Chenoweth & Green retailer label. It shows considerable wear from age and use, including scratches to the wood, tarnish and discoloration on the keywork, worn corks and an extensively scuffed case. It appears substantially complete but should be cleaned, inspected and serviced by a woodwind technician before being relied upon for regular playing.
