Yamaha YSS-475 Soprano Saxophone – Made in Japan – w/ Case, Mouthpiece

Body: Genuine Yamaha YSS-475 soprano saxophone — the intermediate model, made in Japan (serial D3567A). One-piece body, high F# key. This is the real thing, not a stencil: engraved Yamaha bell logo, "Made in Japan" stamp, correct serial format.

Condition: Excellent overall — keys, pads, and lacquer all look great. One honest flaw: a minor ding on the bell (see close-up). Full disclosure on smell: there's a mild smoke odor, and per the evaluating tech it's in the pads, not just the case. Priced with that in mind — a new 475II lists at $3,800.

What's included: Original Yamaha case, Yamaha 4C mouthpiece, ligature, and Vandoren reeds.

Full disclosure: I'm a guitar guy, not a sax player — this horn has not been serviced by me. I had it evaluated at Heid Music in Appleton (Yamaha dealer); their tech said it's in beautiful shape and would only need a standard playing-condition setup (~$125) to be gig-ready. I'm selling it as-is so the buyer can have it set up to their own preference. Priced accordingly.
