Yamaha 1968-72 SA-20 12-String Hollow Body Electric Guitar - Cherry Red (Pre-Owned)
The Yamaha SA-20 12-String is a vintage Japanese-made full hollow body electric guitar produced from October 1968 to 1972.
The Yamaha SA-20 was the flagship model of Yamaha's SA (semi-acoustic/hollow) line during the late 1960s and early 1970s. The Cherry Red finish accentuates its figured curly maple body. A unique feature of this 12-string model is the internal balance weight: a specialized metal piece mounted inside the tailpiece end of the body to counteract the weight of the large headstock and twelve tuners. It also features built-in plastic "baffles" inside the F-holes designed to suppress feedback.
This guitar has been professionally Set Up by Hugo Mermet. It is in Very Good Condition.
