The H-1001FR features a mahogany body with a stunning burled poplar top in Black Natural Burst and a three-piece maple neck with set-thru construction for effortless upper-fret access and long sustain. The Macassar ebony fingerboard with a 350 mm radius carries 24 XJ stainless steel frets.
The tone comes from high-output, direct-mount Seymour Duncan Sentient (neck) and Pegasus (bridge) passive pickups, splittable via a push-pull control.
A Floyd Rose 1000SE bridge with stainless steel screws gives excellent tuning stability even under heavy whammy use, joined by Grover tuners.
