NEAR MINT 1949 Conn 28M “Connstellation” Alto Saxophone

Up for sale is this STUNNING 28M Conn with the clear plastic guard still fully intact! This example is in near-mint condition, with only very small hairline cracks on the guard & small scratches on the lacquer. Absolutely no dents, dings or major scratches anywhere else. Original lacquer is at 99%, with the exception of loss on the left thumb rest & very small wear in the neck. No pull down on the neck. Please note, that the neck will come with a new cork. Plays on older pads. Comes with the ORIGINAL CONN WARRANTY CARD, which carries the matching serial. Original Conn mouthpiece as well. Case is in near perfect shape. These 28Ms were not like your traditional Conns during that era - this beauty has a more brighter, clearer & more focused sound. The clear lacquer is one of the nicer standard finishes you’ll find in either modern or vintage horns. Serial #334XXX. Vintage neck straps included.
