Heavy riffs. Fluid leads. More room to explore.

The Ibanez Axion Label RGD71ALMS brings extended-range versatility and modern playability together in one striking seven-string. Finished in Black Aurora Burst Matte, this RGD pairs a multi-scale design with Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers and a fast Nitro Wizard-7 neck—an inviting combination for metal, progressive rock, and players ready to push beyond six strings.

Built for the Low End

The 25.5"–27" multi-scale layout gives the lower strings a longer scale while keeping the treble side familiar. Whether you’re digging into intricate rhythms or moving through wide lead passages, the RGD71ALMS puts an extended range of notes under your fingers.

Modern Tone, Flexible Voices

A pair of Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers delivers the foundation for powerful rhythms, articulate leads, and expressive cleans. The master volume’s push-pull voicing control provides additional tonal options, while a three-way toggle keeps pickup selection straightforward.

A Neck Made for Movement

The slim Nitro Wizard-7 profile combines a five-piece panga panga and walnut neck with a Macassar ebony fingerboard. A flat 15.75" radius and 24 jumbo frets give you room for bends, tapping, and fast runs, while offset dot inlays keep the look clean.

Hardware That Keeps Things Simple

The Ibanez Mono-Rail bridge provides individual bridge units for each string, and Gotoh MG-T locking tuners make string changes easier. Together, they round out a guitar built for players who want to spend more time playing.

For your next heavy riff, ambitious recording project, or deep dive into seven-string playing, the RGD71ALMS offers a compelling mix of range, control, and unmistakable style.
