Highly regarded by studio players and touring professionals as the absolute finest recreation of the iconic 1960s Vincent Bell Coral Sitar, Jerry Jones instruments have skyrocketed in desirability since the Nashville workshop closed its doors in 2011. Based on official factory specifications and production hallmarks, this is a highly desirable, early-production Master Sitar dating from between Mid-1990 and Mid-1993.

• The Evidence: Early-era builds are immediately recognizable by their distinctive black-fronted headstocks paired with the factory silver-and-black serial number label applied to the upper back of the headstock.
• The Specs: This early version remains faithful to the cosmetic look of the original 1960s Coral sitars—featuring a completely unlabelled clear plexiglass pickguard (later versions had "electric SITAR" etched onto them) and the correct metal 6-screw rear access panel.

This example is finished in the incredibly rare and striking Turquoise Crackle (often cataloged as Turquoise Gator) finish. It is easily one of the cleanest early-90s Jerry Jones instruments left in existence.

• Electronics & Hardware: 100% original and fully functional. All three proprietary, hand-wound Jerry Jones lipstick tube pickups punch out that signature psych-rock clarity and chime. The primary controls, harp controls, and Gotoh tuning machines adjust smoothly and flawlessly.
• The "Buzz" Bridge: The precision-engineered intonated sitar buzz bridge functions perfectly, producing that unmistakable, hypnotic drone and perfect string intonation across the entire scale length.

Case & Case Candy This package is as complete as it gets. It comes housed in its original G&G black alligator-print hardshell case with a flawless interior plush lining. Tucked safely inside the pocket is the original metal harp tuning wrench for the 13 sympathetic strings, alongside the incredibly rare, original Jerry Jones instrumentation instruction sheet detailing how to tune and adjust the drone harp.
