The Fender American Professional Stratocaster Maple in Black marks a fresh chapter in Fender's modern professional lineup. You've seen the original American Professional, the American Professional II, and the American Professional Classic. This refreshed American Professional Series brings ta number of meaningful under-the-hood updates, including tighter-tolerance electronics with treble bleed to retain clarity as the volume is rolled back. Its upgraded 2-point tremolo uses a cold-rolled steel block for added sustain and definition, while redesigned saddles keep adjustment screws from protruding into the picking hand. The Black finish, mint pickguard, aged white plastics, and maple fingerboard give this version a timeless appearance, while the updated neck, pickups, and tremolo are built around the needs of working players.

The Deep "C" maple neck uses rolled fingerboard edges, a 9.5" radius, and Fender's "Super-Natural" satin urethane finish for a smooth, broken-in feel without going fully vintage. The sculpted neck heel improves access to the upper register, while 22 narrow tall frets make bends and lead work comfortable without sacrificing familiar Strat response. Three V-Mod III single-coils provide clear attack, bell-like chime, and enough warmth to cover clean rhythm parts, pedal-driven textures, and overdriven lead tones.

A two-point synchronized tremolo with a cold-rolled steel block and ClassicGear Radial bent-steel saddles provides smooth pitch control and straightforward setup adjustment. Fender staggered sealed tuners, a bone nut, and Micro-Tilt neck adjustment complete a dependable hardware package. We think this Black version is a great fit for players who want a traditional-looking Strat with modern refinement where it matters.
