The Fender American Professional Jazzmaster in Dark Night combines its offset alder body with updated V-Mod III electronics and Fender’s Panorama tremolo system. The Dark Night polyurethane finish is paired with a rosewood fingerboard, four-ply tortoiseshell pickguard, and aged white pickup covers and Witch Hat knobs.

Its maple Deep “C” neck incorporates smooth rolled fingerboard edges and a sculpted heel for comfortable access to the upper frets. A “Super-Natural” satin urethane finish covers the back of the neck, with gloss urethane on the headstock face. The rosewood fingerboard has a 9.5" radius, 22 Narrow Tall frets, white dot markers, and a bone nut.

The V-Mod III single-coil Jazzmaster pickups use a three-position toggle in the lead circuit, with master volume and tone controls. Engaging the rhythm circuit places both pickups in series for increased output and gives that mode its own thumbwheel volume and tone controls. The lead tone control also features a push-push function that taps the bridge pickup for a lower-output vintage voice.

The Panorama Jazzmaster tremolo is paired with a pop-in arm and ClassicGear J-Bridge for a broad range of vibrato and pitch movement. Fender Standard staggered tuning machines and an asymmetrical Micro-Tilt neck plate complete the hardware, while a Deluxe Molded hardshell case is included.
