Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition '72 Telecaster Custom Thinline Relic Josefina Pickups - Black Paisley

Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition '72 Telecaster Custom Thinline Relic Josefina Pickups - Black Paisley

This one-of-a-kind Fender Custom Shop Thinline Telecaster is a masterclass in dark, vintage-inspired style with a seriously distinctive edge. Finished in Black Paisley Relic, its intricate pattern and aged character are perfectly complemented by tortoiseshell binding and a matching brown shell pickguard, creating a look that feels equal parts classic Fender and custom boutique masterpiece. The lightweight roasted ash body features the iconic '67 Tele Thinline silhouette and F-hole, delivering unmistakable vintage appeal with a visual identity all its own.

Underneath the striking exterior is a carefully curated collection of premium tonewoods and Custom Shop appointments. The roasted flame maple neck features a medium-tint finish and stark figuring, a comfortable '63 Strat-style C profile, and a rosewood fingerboard adorned with mother-of-pearl dot inlays. Schaller F-Key tuners and an OBS Bobbed Tele bridge with RSD hardware complete the vintage-inspired aesthetic, while the Relic treatment gives the guitar the lived-in character of a well-loved instrument with decades of stories behind it.

The electronics are every bit as compelling as the cosmetics. A '51 Nocaster bridge pickup delivers the punch, clarity, and unmistakable bite of early Telecaster tones, while a Wide Range CuNiFe humbucker in the neck position adds warmth, depth, and a broader sonic palette - Both hand-wound by the legendary Josefina Campos. Dual-stack HS Tele controls provide versatile tonal shaping, making this guitar equally at home delivering gritty vintage twang, rich humbucker warmth, or something beautifully in between. Finished off with a Fender Custom Shop black hardshell case, this is a truly individual instrument that brings together exceptional craftsmanship, inspired appointments, and a look you won't find on another guitar.
