Limited edition Rickenbacker 360CW Carl Wilson (Beach Boys) 12-string model finished in Jetglo Black. Only available in 2000, this is number 280 of just 500 ever produced and just been treated to a professional set-up and a fresh set of strings for the lucky new owner.

It is in excellent condition with no dings etc. The only thing to note is a tidy professional repair on the front of the guitar which is visible on close inspection, and that we have photographed under direct studio lighting to exaggerate it. This has been factored into the price as it is not uncommon to see this rare model retail towards £5k typically.

The 360CW was created in tribute to Carl Wilson, whose shimmering Rickenbacker tones helped define the sound of 1960s California pop. The model captures the essence of his stage instruments, from its vintage-style appointments to its unmistakable voice.

It features a Maple body with checkerboard binding, a medium profile Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard. The setup is outstanding, smooth, effortless action across the fretboard, and the twin Toaster single-coil pickups deliver that unmistakable, chiming Rickenbacker tone with clarity and depth. Its stereo output capability adds another dimension of versatility for the player who enjoys exploring a wide tonal palette, and it has volume/tone controls per pickup plus blend control.

It is sold complete with its original Rickenbacker hard case, certificate of authenticity, tool, cloth and booklet, making it as desirable for the collector as it is for the player.
