Epiphone SG Tony Iommi Signature Gibson Humbucker inkl. Zertifikat & Case

(Stock No.: 995-14) Offered here is a very well-preserved Epiphone SG Tony Iommi Signature—from a collection liquidation—complete with its original certificate and a beautiful Lifton-style Epiphone hard case! There are minor dings and dents (see photos) and light signs of play on the body, but absolutely no grooves or notches in the original fret wire or the fretboard itself! The Epiphone SG Custom Tony Iommi Signature Limited Edition is a signature model specially designed for the "Godfather of Heavy Metal." Both the neck and body are crafted from mahogany, while the fretboard is made of ebony. This construction gives the guitar a warm, mid-range-focused tone with excellent attack. Like Tony Iommi's original SG, this Epiphone signature model features 24 frets and cross-shaped position markers on the fretboard. It is equipped with two Gibson USA Tony Iommi Signature humbuckers, combining long sustain with a powerful, cutting sound. Both pickups are wax-potted and sealed with epoxy resin, making them resistant to feedback and microphonics. The locking LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge ensures perfect intonation and contributes to the guitar's outstanding resonance and sustain, while high-quality sealed Epiphone tuners with tulip buttons guarantee excellent tuning stability. A small but significant detail is the relocation of the output jack to the side of the guitar body, which improves access to the tone controls. A fantastic guitar that holds or increases in value—being a limited run of 2,000 units—making it ideal for both players and collectors! Naturally, the original certificate is included! The guitar comes in its original Epiphone case, including accessories and a certificate! Weight: 2.980 kg We have given the guitar a professional setup with new 10-46 gauge strings; this included oiling the fretboard and optimizing the string action!
