A Special Anniversary Les Paul from Gibson's Early 1990s Era

Offered for sale is my original 1991 Gibson Les Paul 40th Anniversary Limited Edition, made in the USA to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the legendary Les Paul guitar, first introduced in 1952.

This distinctive anniversary model combines classic Les Paul construction with elegant appointments: a deep Ebony finish, gold-plated hardware, cream P-100 pickups, an ebony fingerboard and the special 40th Anniversary inlay at the 12th fret.

A wonderful instrument for players who appreciate vintage Gibson craftsmanship, distinctive tone and collectible anniversary models.

Originality and Condition

The guitar remains in its original configuration, with no modifications, replacement components or repairs.

It has been carefully looked after and is in very good vintage condition overall, showing normal signs of age and use.

There are a few small finish chips along the upper edge of the headstock, as well as age-related patina on the gold hardware. These cosmetic details will be documented in the photographs.

The instrument has a wonderful, rich and expressive tone. The original P-100 pickups combine the unmistakable soapbar character with hum-reducing construction.
