Ibanez AS113BS Artstar B-Stock

Ibanez AS113BS Artstar B-Stock Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar

The AS113BS sits comfortably in the hands with its balanced, moderately-sized semi-hollow body and responsive Artstar profile neck—a guitar built for extended playing sessions without fatigue. Dual Super 58 humbuckers paired with tri-sound switching deliver genuine tonal range across jazz, blues, fusion, and rock applications. This B-stock example offers access to premium construction at a reduced price, with only minor cosmetic blemishes that do not affect playability or sound.

Playability & Construction

The set-neck Nyatoh/Maple construction with Macassar Ebony fingerboard and 22 medium nickel frets ensures smooth, precise action for both chord work and intricate single-note lines. Body dimensions of 19¼" length × 15¾" width × 2⅝" maximum depth paired with a 628mm (24.7") scale balance traditional semi-hollow character with modern ergonomics, while the bone nut and fret edge treatment contribute to long-term sustain and comfortable fretting feel.

Tone & Electronics

Dual Super 58 humbuckers deliver moderate-output, vintage-leaning warmth without sacrificing clarity, with each pickup responding to the tri-sound switch (series/parallel/single-coil) to expand your palette from rich, full-bodied tones to articulate, single-coil-like definition. The Gibraltar Performer bridge with Quik Change III tailpiece and Ibanez tuners ensure stable tuning and strong sustain, while independent volume and tone controls on each channel provide immediate tonal shaping.
