First introduced in 1955, the D-21 is Martin’s most Brazilian rosewooded guitar ever: back, sides, fretboard, bridge, headstock overlay - everything but the spruce top and mahogany neck. The tone is much like that of a D-28, the rosette and binding are like that of a D-18, but the overall effect is all D-21. They made less than 3,000 of these, and this one probably has the coolest looking Brazilian of the whole bunch. It’s all original, crack free, and plays like butter. You know won’t last long!
