This Diamond Series J-4 is a little older and shows signs of daily play. There are no big dings or dents but the finish is marred in a couple places and it has very small dents in a few places that are hardly noticeable. There are no chips or scratches In the finish. It’s never been gigged and has only been out of the house once.

The neck is straight the joint is tight, the frets are barely worn, the tuners and bridge work great and everything does what it’s supposed to.

I installed hotter Dragonfire pickups which sound good and offer better highs and mids. The routing went a little sketchy but it’s hardly noticeable.

V,B&T pots and just like it came from the factory, the push-pull tone knob gives a choice between running the pickups parallel or in series.

It’s not a collector’s bass, it’s a working man’s bass that you can bring anywhere and it just works day after day, gig after gig. It’s not fancy and it’s not new, the blemishes are purely cosmetic And it sounds awesome!
