Swart Atomic Boost – OC44 Germanium Transistor – Discontinued Version
Up for sale is a Swart Atomic Boost featuring the discontinued OC44 germanium transistor. This is a particularly interesting version of the Atomic Boost for players and collectors seeking the original OC44 version. According to the website, Swart's stock of OC44 transistors ran out in 2015 making the originals harder to come by.
The OC44 is clearly visible in the included gut shot, so you can verify the transistor yourself. Note also the point-to-point wiring throughout.
The Swart Atomic Boost delivers a vintage-inspired boost character. The toggle switch selects either mid boost or treble boost. It's wired so that unplugging the input jack disconnects the battery thus preserving battery life when not in use. There's no external 9V jack on these.
Please review the photos for the exact condition.
A great opportunity to own one of the original Swart Atomic Boost pedals.
