Up for sale is my near-mint, cherished Rickenbacker 325c58. Built in January 2006 by Rickenbacker. This is the real deal.  It took me years to find this exact guitar in this condition with the Bigsby instead of the horrible Kaufman. If you found this auction, you know this is one of the holy grail guitars!

This is the reissue of John Lennon's favorite guitar: his Ric that he nicked (I believe he never finished his payments on this guitar!) while playing in the Reeperbahn at the Indra, Top Ten, Kaiserkeller, and the Star-Club.  It's the same guitar that made it all the way to the USA and the Beatles first NYC concert at Carnegie Hall.

From Rickenbacker's website: The 325C58 is an exact replica of the 1958 model 325, just as John Lennon first purchased in Hamburg. This hollow-body guitar is sculpted from solid Alder, and is available in natural Mapleglo or Jetglo finish. Featuring gold nameplate and pickguard, gold-on-brown knobs, an elongated jack plate, and Kauffman Vibrola, the 325C58 precisely replicates every detail of the 1958 Model 325. 

This guitar is in near perfect condition. A few tiny rash marks on the back, but difficult to see unless in perfect light. New Old Stock Rogan stove top knobs + silver "Cavern" electrical knobs that I got from the original owner that I will include in the sale. That collector liked the "Cavern era" knobs and not the Rogan knobs, so the Rogans went on. The crappy original Kaufman Rola tremolo was swapped with a Bigsby, just as John Lennon did. I do not have the Kaufman, so it is not included. The rest is stock.  Comes with near mint original case and case candy.... including original unused warranty card. Selling "as used" because it was played at home in a non-smoking home but is in amazing condition... see the pix!
