Fender Deluxe Lone Star™ Stratocaster® 2010 in Arctic White,
with wiring upgrades and 16 tonal options.

This Fender Deluxe Lone Star™ Stratocaster® guitar features a premium U.S.-made Seymour Duncan® Pearly Gates Plus™ bridge pickup, Texas Special™ single-coil Stratocaster neck and middle pickups, tinted "C"-shaped maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, and vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge.

The guitar has been upgraded to include switches/wiring for a tap on the Pearly Gates humbucker, a latching push-button to add the neck pickup, and a Neck-Middle and Bridge-Middle series switch option which includes the middle pickup re-voiced to provide a wide range of tone options.

The upgraded wiring is installed on a new white  3-ply pickguard includes a 5-way superswitch, and retains the original CTS pots and 0.022 F capacitor.  

At position 1 and 5 of the superswitch and with the selector switch down a passive revoicing of the Middle pickup is achieved with a 4.7nF cap in parallel to shift the resonant peak down to the upper mid-range, together with a 680pF cap to make the sound more punchy rather than muffled when added in series to the neck or bridge pickup.

The humbucker auto split at position 2 (as per the standard Fender HSS wiring set up) has been removed when the switches are up, with the second switch providing the option to split the humbucker to screw coil only, allowing full coil or tap in any position where the bridge is live

A chrome surround has been added to humbucker and the volume knob is changed to a telecaster style to avoid the surround.

The neck serial number indicates a 2010 model, and you can check out the original spec. for this guitar by entering the serial number into the Fender Serial Number Lookup.

The body and neck show very little signs of wear, save for a small dent on the lower edge and some light scuffs on the bottom rear edge of the body, which I have tried to show in the pictures. There is some minor fret wear under the higher strings but overall, the guitar is in excellent playing condition. The guitar has been set up with a low action and to otherwise standard fender settings.
