Up for sale is a super rare Toshiba Model H ribbon mic from the 60’s. This was the Japanese companies answer to the RCA BK-5. In perfect condition and with the case, it is both a working piece of recording equipment and a collectors item. The case includes the original Toshiba labeled velvet bag. It’s unbelievable that these stayed together for so long, on top of these being basically unattainable in the US.
The previous owner tastefully upgraded the cable on the microphone with a high quality Neutrik end. It includes a standard mic adapter for the base.
This has been used in my recording studio and sounds fantastic as you’d expect. This sale is as is with no returns. Shipping will be higher so I can pack it correctly and insure it. Message with any questions
