MXR Custom Shop CSP265 Joe Bonamassa FET Driver - Mint Condition (Original Owner)

Up for sale is a mint condition MXR Custom Shop Joe Bonamassa FET Driver (CSP265). Sterno himself is the original owner, and this pedal has lived exclusively in his smoke-free home environment with zero gig wear or Velcro applied.

Designed in collaboration with Joe Bonamassa and Jeorge Tripps, the CSP265 FET Driver captures the thick, creamy tone and dynamic response of a classic tube driver circuit using a multi-stage FET setup driven by an operational amplifier.

Key Features & Controls:

• Multi-Stage FET Architecture: Emulates authentic tube clipping without fragile vacuum tubes or high voltage requirements.
• Interactive 2-Band EQ (Hi & Lo): Tailor bass and treble specifically to match your guitar pickups and amplifier pairing.
• Hi Cut Push Button: Engages a high-frequency filter to smooth out harsh top-end when running through bright amps or higher-gain setups.
• True Bypass Switching: Maintains pure signal integrity when disengaged.
• Premium Custom Shop Build: Limited-run black casing with metallic gold graphics.

Sound & Versatility:

Whether you're looking for subtle overdrive, thick lead sustain, or a push into full cranked-amp territory, the FET Driver excels across genre boundaries:

• Dynamic Lead Boost: Delivers liquid-smooth sustain and rich harmonic saturation reminiscent of Joe's signature Eric Johnson / David Gilmour-inspired lead tones.
• Amp-Like Breakup: Cleans up exceptionally well with your guitar’s volume knob, behaving like a cranked tube amplifier channel.
• Rhythm to Lead Coverage: Works equally well adding body to single-coils or pushing humbuckers into singing, compressed overdrive.
