Komet Pulse Jet

Here it is, a rarity, the Komet Pulse Jet, one of Komet’s unsung heroes (to quote Mike Kennedy, of Komet)! Hardly ever see these come available, and this one’s a steal (they list for $4999!) Simply a superb amp with tons of tone, tons of touch sensitivity (what Komet’s are known for) and beautiful TREMOLO for gawd’s sake! Clean to sweet overdrive, a real sweetheart. This one is in very good to excellent shape and ready to rock your world. More details can be found on the Komet website. Powered by EL34 power tubes, but will also accept 6L6 / KT66 / 5881 and 6V6 power tubes, easily biased with the integrated locking bias control and a voltage ohm meter. The strips of paper taped to the back plate are easily removed and are my bias settings for the EL34 as currently set up, and also the settings for 6V6’s if one so desires (6V6’s drop this amp down to about 25 watts). A phenomenal amp, I’m only letting her go because I’m getting really old and I simply HAVE to thin out all this gear I’ve accumulated. This amp has been good to me, it’ll be good to you, too. Rock on.

Ships to lower 48 states only. Sale is final, no returns … I’m a player, not a store.

btw The photos show a dead end plug in the footswitch jack so that the tremolo is always on, just turn up the depth if you want some. (I like to leave just a slight touch of tremolo going at all times for a little extra mojo. Just saying.) This amp did not come with a trem footswitch, and there is no footswitch included with this sale. There is also no speaker cabinet included with this sale.
