I am a beginner Pedal Steel Guitar player and I purchased this lap steel 8 months ago, just so I could have a travel guitar to practice fingering exercises while riding as a passenger in our car on trips. Over the past month, I have, with my own research, YouTube and help from the Steel Guitar Forum, discovered that when multibenders are added to a lap steel guitar, the "Pedal Steel Bends," and wonderful "classic steeley" sounds of the pedal steel can be reproduced on the lap steel! If you're doubting, just check out the video I have in my photos!!

So, after seeing the potential for "converting" lap steels to "multibend-ered pedal steels" I decided to explore the possibility of starting a business that does JUST THAT.

I didn't think the Rogue RLS-1 could be modified, because of the "lack of space behind the bridge." The multibender wouldn't fit!, BUT.... an ingenious player in Germany, had the same idea and he demonstrates how to do it on YouTube!! So (**VERY IMPORTANT**), the images that I have below with this guitar with the multibenders, is borrowed from his posting.... and are not mine!! I WILL create the VERY same thing once my multibenders arrive and will update the pictures to show the ACTUAL product. In the meantime, I just wanted you to see what's coming!!

I've also put in the price that I will be asking for the modified Rogue and as you can see, NOW, someone doesn't have to spend $1000 on a modified lap steel with multibenders; you can get one for just $599!! I don't expect anyone to purchase this right now.... although you can, but be AWARE that the final product is not ready yet and once it is, I will update this narrative so you'll know.
