This is the 2020 Fender American Acoustasonic Telecaster in a rare color: surf green (only offered in 2019-20). This is the one with all the goodies. This is NOT one of the stripped-down versions manufactured in Mexico or Indonesia. This was manufactured in Corona, CA (see pics) and it comes with the gig bag that it was shipped to me in (from Sweetwater, where I purchased it new).

Features (from the Fender website):

• Cutting-edge acoustic-electric guitar
• Acoustic Engine delivers ten different body style and tone wood combinations
• Blend Knob selects and blends voices
• Patent-pending Stringed Instrument Resonance System (SIRS)
• Three pickup systems: Fishman Under-Saddle Transducer; Fishman Acoustasonic Enhancer; Fender Acoustasonic Noiseless™ magnetic pickup
• Integrated forearm contour and mahogany neck

I'll add that the mahogany neck is the most comfortable I've ever played. Your hand glides up and down the fretboard. This guitar was only used as a couch guitar -- it was never gigged and has zero road wear. This guitar is a lot of fun. It's easy to play, set-up professionally, with brand-new strings and a smooth neck. It has been lovingly taken care of and is seeking an owner who will enjoy it as much as I have (it's just time to move on so I'm looking to offload some of my inventory to make room for new arrivals). The range of tones you can get from this thing is just amazing and is a never-ending font of fun, IMO. If you're an electric player the Acoustasonic Telecaster will feel natural to you the moment you pick it up. If you're an acoustic player you'll love the range of sounds you'll be able to get out of what is essentially a thinline telecaster (but souped-up with 2020s electronics and other magic). And if you play a little of both you'll appreciate not having to readjust every time you switch from electric to acoustic and back again. In short, this thing is just one helluva good time.
