Ludwig P7200A 2000's - Chrome

This is an open box NOS P7200A New Rail Tom Mount from Ludwig.
I bought this about 20 years ago thinking it was a direct bolt to bolt replacement for the classic 1960's Ludwig consolettes... IT WAS NOT! 
The mounting bolt pattern is a larger footprint and I did not want to drill new holes into my vintage kit.
If you are looking for a spare or replacement for a kit that has one of these , this was never installed and is in great condition.
If you are looking to do a new install let me give you some details.
The L arm fits the Ludwig Tom Mounts just fine.
The overall Maximum height from the drum shell to the top of the L Arm is 13"
The overall minimum height with the top section of the mount dropped to its lowest point is 11.75"
This works fine with standard size tom shells but may not work so well with some deeper power tom shells without hitting the top of the bass drum.
The mounting bolt spacing is approximately 4 3/4" center to center wide and 2 3/8" center to center deep.
It is also very important to note that this mount will not fold in either direction against the top of the bass drum to reduce size for putting the drum in a case for travel because of the location of bolts and the design of it. I show the mount disassembled in the photos, You have to remove the entire vertical section from the rail section to get the drum in a case. That is accomplished with one T bolt. 
Some people may be okay with that, some may not but you have the information to decide.
Overall it is an extremely well built solid tom mount and arm system if you can work with that one quirk.
