Mario Guitars Custom T Beast - Brazilian - Avocado Mist Light Relic 6lb 14oz

Super vibey Tele-style from Mario Martin with a P90 in the neck and a humbucker in the bridge. The neck pickup is warm and fat like a classic Tele neck, but with a bit of low-wind PAF sizzle that takes light to heavy gain exceptionally well. The bridge humbucker is biting and mid-forward without getting ice-picky, and the two sit together perfectly in the simple, functional layout. Three-way switch is stock, but the Porter Anthem PAF has 5-wire leads so a 4- or 5-way could be added later if you want coil-tap options.

The Avocado Mist nitro with light relic is the kind of finish that looks better in person than photos can show - pale light green with a slight effervescence that shifts under different lighting and already has that soft, broken-in character. The body is swamp ash, double-bound, and the overall fit and finish is on the level you’d expect from Mario.

Neck is a Chunky C+ on a ¼-sawn flame maple neck with Brazilian rosewood board. It’s full and fat without crossing into baseball-bat territory - substantial enough to feel supportive for long sessions and an absolute joy to play. The nitro on the back of the neck is slightly worn from the factory, which completes the vintage feel. Brazilian board has real presence under the light, and the fret ends are some of the best I’ve come across, especially paired with the exaggerated fretboard edge roll. Compound 9.5 - 12" radius, 6125 frets, bone nut, and Gotoh staggered vintage tuners. Weight is a comfortable 6 lb 14 oz.

Condition is excellent with the intentional light relic and factory neck wear. Currently set up with EB 11's and I just gave it a proper fret polish, fretboard conditioning, wipe down and setup - it feels phenomenal as currently set; alive in all the right ways and the 11's fight you juuust enough to complete the vibe of "total rock machine".

Comes with the original Mario Martin embroidered gig bag, Certificate of Authenticity (hand-signed and dated 12-5-23), spec sheet, and warranty card. Serial 1223887.
