Sabian 14" HHX Evolution Mini Chinese Brilliant Finish

The HHX Evolution Mini Chinese delivers a cutting, aggressive accent that cuts through dense mixes with minimal effort. Its compact 14" size and thin weight profile make it exceptionally responsive to stick articulation, responding instantly to dynamic control. This cymbal excels in rock, metal, and fusion contexts where definition and immediate decay are non-negotiable.

Tone & Decay Characteristics

Built from B20 bronze, this Chinese-style crash produces a mid-to-low pitch with a signature sharp, staccato accent and quick, trashy decay. The bright, cutting voice cuts through without sustaining, making it ideal for rhythmic punctuation and dynamic cymbal work that demands clarity.

Construction & Finish

The brilliant finish enhances the cymbal's projection and visual presence while the thin weight classification ensures fast response and easy maneuverability for rapid playing passages. At approximately 734g, this cymbal remains lightweight without sacrificing the durability expected from professional-grade hardware.
